Childrens' Dentistry

Antony Neville-Lamb also receives referrals from the Community Dental Service for pre-high school children whose treatment either extends beyond the scope of the Dental Therapist to provide, or where there may be behavioural or medical issues.

The Community Dental Clinic will prepare a referral for such children. When parents/guardians contact New Plymouth Dental Centre a consultation appointment will be made. At this appointment the treatment needs of the child will be discussed a plan to undertake this treatment will be established.

Where necessary a further time will be made to carry out this treatment. Where appropriate this may be undertaken under nitrous oxide sedation.
